On Sept 27, MOL Logistics, together with volunteers from our MOL Group companies, brought festive cheer to Shun On District Elderly Community Centre for a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival celebration! We shared warmth and kindness, brightening the day of our elder friends and easing their loneliness. At the same time, our MOL volunteers got to dive into meaningful community care, learn about elder support, embrace social responsibility, and spark heartwarming intergenerational bonds.

The fun started with lively self-introductions and ice-breaking games that had everyone laughing. Then came heartfelt conversations and the highlight — building colorful lanterns side by side, filling the room with teamwork and smiles. To wrap up, each elder was gifted a special pack from MOL, a little token of our care.

Our mission? To bring loving companionship, reconnect elders with the community, and give volunteers eye-opening life lessons that deepen their empathy. These moments also fuel MOL’s drive to pour care and commitment into society. Celebrating just before the Mid-Autumn Festival felt extra special — after all, the full moon shines as a powerful symbol of reunion, harmony, and social unity in Chinese culture.

All in all, visiting the elderly community centre warmed hearts and sparked joy, giving everyone involved a priceless chance to learn, grow, and give back. MOL is proud to keep extending our community care through our “BLUE ACTION for ALL Campaign.”
